The Cordite Foundation
On 17 April 2024, Dr. William Craig Moffatt passed away peacefully in Kingston after a short illness, two days shy of his 91st birthday. His full obituary can be found at the following link:

A celebration of life in memory of Dr. Moffatt was held on Tuesday 11 June 2024 at the RMC Senior Staff Mess in Kingston.
Dr. Moffat was a founding member of the Cordite Foundation, a coauthor of the departmental history book, Mechanical Engineering at the Royal Military College of Canada 1876 - 2018, and has remained present and involved with the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department as an emeritus professor, including the W.C. Moffatt Aeronautical Engineering Award which has been awarded annually since 2009 to a student of the graduating class of Aeronautical Engineering.
